It looks like Doc Brown’s 12-year old nephew was trying to go “B ack to the....front yard!"

Yo dawg I heard you like death. So we made you a death trap out of other death traps so you can die while you die and maybe explode .

Betcha it’s fast as fuck though!
You can get to the accident faster.

she is my baby and does mostly run and drive
SOLD!
OBO hi yall! this is my labor of love, and I have to let her go but I need the money and dont really have the space anymore. this is a 1996 Suzuki Katana 750 powered 1997 Club Car Caryall 2. this has taked about $900 to build and too much time. she is my baby and does mostly run and drive. she also revs to 12 5 grand so she’s kinda loud at full open throttle but very fun :D she runs on 93 octane gas and at 10 5 makes about 100 horsies. Has suspension. Tires all ok and hold air. if you want I can throw in the head unit for like 15 (is an alpine) is not watercooled but air and oil coolers are in place and work. has exhaust system. has large 2 month old marine battery has lights but turn signals need to be hooked up. brand new skinny front tires. this golf cart alone goes for 5 grand in good condition (look it up) and thr motor is another 800, and was rebuilt about 8 months ago. want to sell soon. price is obo

Positive: that is cheap for a golf cart
Negative : more of a golf cart-shaped pile of parts and assorted lengths of wire

Not only that, but when you hit a brick wall in the cart, you'll keep on going!

Q uestion - if someone buys this and kills themselves in it, are they still eligible for a Darwin Award, or is that reserved for the original builder?
![]() 04/20/2020 at 11:30 |

I think whoever drives it willingly, qualifies.
![]() 04/20/2020 at 11:31 |

I laughed harder than I should have at this!
![]() 04/20/2020 at 11:31 |
|
And then get sandwiched by the engine!
![]() 04/20/2020 at 11:32 |
|
Yeah, I think at this point it’s more of a golf-cart-like-substance.
![]() 04/20/2020 at 11:32 |

Nobody does! Least of all the seller!
![]() 04/20/2020 at 11:33 |

I have to admit to some amount of want as well :)

this is my labor of love
Is an interesting way of saying “I slapped this together over eight beers and an afternoon, someone take my mistake away before I die on it”
![]() 04/20/2020 at 11:39 |

Per the ad, i t “does mostly run and drive.” OMG, laughing my ass off at this.

It is safer to be thrown clear of the crash. Science.
![]() 04/20/2020 at 11:43 |

I wonder what his definition of “mostly” is?
![]() 04/20/2020 at 11:59 |
|
It means when when you press the go pedal, it mostly moves forward, but some percentage of it stays behind.

I think for me, part of it is that I frequently go to a test site at work in a remote area where the primary mode of transportation is golf carts. The idea of having something like this to race around and blow the doors off everyone else makes me giddy!
![]() 04/20/2020 at 12:10 |

In this case that might actually be true.

Time to send this to a buddy of mine who does aircraft maintenance and fabrication and see what his response is. This looks to be almost peak “redneck engineering, ” it looks to need some help getting to the “works” part.

BWAHAHAHAHA!
![]() 04/20/2020 at 12:13 |
|
That actually makes sense!
![]() 04/20/2020 at 12:14 |
|
I bet it will make him start twitching.
![]() 04/20/2020 at 12:42 |
|
Do you know what could be accomplished with this and 8 more beers and another afternoon?
![]() 04/20/2020 at 13:19 |
|
I would of wanted that, but not after what ever they done to it.
![]() 04/20/2020 at 13:52 |

[starting out] how hard can it be, maybe I’ll learn something
[ending] I learned I’m not an electrician, mechanic.........

Same here.
![]() 04/20/2020 at 14:17 |

I sure hope the person learned that ... but I’m guessing they have not taken those lessons to heart.

RWD race (ish) seat with sequential shifter. Revs to 12.5k and sounds great .
Someone needs to help them with their marketing!
